1880s, Cypress Creek, Texas
Ready to embark on an amazing journey with six U.S. Marshals and the courageous women they fall in love with?
The Marshals of Cypress Creek know all too well the dangers involved with protecting and serving.
But what they aren’t prepared for…. Is how hard they fall for the lovely ladies that come their way. Each of the brothers in arms ends up falling in love while solving cases, usually with the help of the ladies, of course.
Some of these brides were meant for someone else, but turns out those ‘someone elses’ weren’t all they promised to be. Then one of the brides-to-be is an outlaw’s daughter, and another got caught up in a scheme involving a bunch of kidnapped children.
One thing is for sure, all the ladies…and the children, are worth the risk the marshals endure to save them.

Marrying a Marshal Box Set Mail Order Bride edition by Natalie Dean Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
- This author is fantastic ! This series is full of small town, marshals, suspense, love, strong women coming to live in the West! I couldn’t put this series down ! It was a bummer when a book had ended but I would turn the page and a whole new book was there to read! I love how the marshals are tough outside but soft inside and know how to treat a lady ! A must read series !
Darlene Lindstrom - This excellent series tells the stories of courageous and resourceful US Marshals in Texas in the 1800's. It also tells about the brave women who for various different reasons came west to become their mail order brides. Each story is different and keeps you on the edge of your seat. They are wonderful stand alone books but even better as a set. I read each separately as they came out but I am glad to see them put together. Vivian does a great job of telling the stories of these men and women who helped win justice in West Texas. A really enjoyable read.

- I liked the first, most of the second book, third not so much, fourth, I mostly skimmed through it, love the fifth book, the sixth I’m confused why there was nothing about what happened to the kids that were rescued and people that kidnapped them after they were caught. It goes from a shooting to a wedding. She rambled a lot in the book when it came to the important info at the end, it seems she gave up. I wish authors knew how to spell, or use proper sentence structure.
- This is a collection of stories about adventures and responsibilities and lives of several marshals. Each story will captivate your interest. Enjoy!
- The books in the Marrying a Marshal Box Set are all clean, sweet romances between strong U.S. Marshals and the wonderful women they fall in love with. There is suspense, danger and romance in each of these books.
The Dangers of Love is the story of Greta who came from Germany to be the wife of Daniel Evans who turns out to be a loud mouthed bully. On the train to Daniel's home, Greta becomes acquainted with Simon, a US marshal who is helping transport a prisoner. Greta proves quite brave.
In The Outlaw's Daughter, Hank, a US Marshal, pretends to be married to Ella in order to infiltrate her brother's gang of thieves. This is a very interesting story with personable characters. The Outlaw's Daughter is a clean, sweet romance despite the thieves. It is well worth your time.
Falling for the Marshal is another great romance with suspense from Natalie Dean. This book has a spunky 28 year old lady from Boston, a dead bridegroom (murdered, no less), a US Marshall on loan to Cypress Creek, and an overbearing rancher who has way too much influence over way too many townspeople. I got so engrossed that I finished the book much too quickly!
No Time to Love is a great addition to the Marrying a Marshall series. This is a sweet, clean romance between Ida, a widow, and Jack, a US Marshall. This time the town has to battle a flood rather than a gang of criminals. I enjoyed this story and highly recommend it.
The Captured Bride has a villain that is evil incarnate. The marshals know he has kidnapped many children. The marshals are preparing to investigate what ominous activity is happening on the mountain. There is an extra dose of suspense in this story.
I highly recommend this intriguing series. - The Marrying a Marshal Box Set books are all clean, sweet romances between U.S. Marshals and mail order brides. There is suspense, danger and romance in each of these books.
An Unexpected Treasure
Since the homelife of Louise Settelmeyer is not the best, she decides becoming a mail-order bride would make the upcoming days much better. But before she makes it to Cypress Creek, men stop the stagecoach with the intention of robbery. Thankfully, several U.S. Marshals arrive before anything tragic occurs, yet when Louise finally makes it to the town, she learns some unsettling news and is now on her own. One of the marshals is Andy Fulton, and he wants to make certain that she comes to no harm and keeps a close watch over her. Every detail in this story is believable and drew me into the lives of Louise and Andy. Though their first meeting is rocky and even several afterward are also filled with doubts, the protective side of Andy has him making sure she can make it on her own. Many of their discussions are packed with sharp-wit, and I had to laugh at some of their reactions to what was said. The old west setting is brought to life in many ways, and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the responses of the main characters to what happened.
The Dangers of Love
Action, adventure, love, you name it, it's got it! Greta has come from Germany as a mail order bride and is riding the train with him and his mother to their home in Montana. Her fiancee, however, is a jerk! He constantly makes fun of her accent, treats her horribly, and is overbearing and rude. She meets Simon, a marshal transporting a dangerous criminal, in the hall and they eventually strike up a friendship. What happens next is where the story really moves! I promise you won't be disappointed. ( . . . and you'll love the happy ending.)
The Outlaw's Daughter
Ella Jenkins has run away from her outlaw family, The Jenkins Gang, and gone as far away as she could to make a new life for herself. Her brother, Ezra, knew she was leaving and let her go, but now her father's retired and he's head of the gang. U.S. Marshal Hank Fulton has been tasked with the job, and he's prepared to do whatever it takes to bring them in, including pretending to be married to Ella or sacrificing his life for justice. Can he put Ella in that same position, too, though? She loves her family and doesn't want to betray them, but wants to do the right thing as well, and is torn between them.
Falling for the Marshal
Deputy Marshal Tom Wilson worked with the marshals from Cypress Creek and ended up very much liking them and Cypress Creek. When asked to help out again, he's happy to do so, especially cause it helps him get away from a too-interested widow in Dry Gulch that he isn't interested in romantically. Boston socialite Samantha VanHellen has been waiting for a marriage proposal and has reached the end of her rope. At 28 she's tired of being seen as an old maid and waiting for her suitor, Charles, to propose, so she decides to become a mail-order bride in Texas. Tom and Samantha arrive in Cypress Creek on the same day and are immediately drawn to each other. Samantha's fiance, Beau, never shows up to get her and Tom helps investigate what turns out to be his murder.
Samantha and Tom work together to bring justice to Beau and are making good progress until complication upon complication happens, some in the form of people they'd just as soon leave behind.
No Time to Love
In this story, US Marshal Jake Cranston is transferred to Cypress Creek, and finds himself lodging at the East Boarding House, run by Ida East. Her brother-in-law, Calvin East, helps her, as he promised her husband, Hiram, when Hiram died. Jake and Ida start off on the wrong foot, but soon start to become friends. Ida has learned the hard way not to get emotionally involved with others because she always loses them, and she's determined not to get involved with Jake. Ida is the strongest woman Jake's ever known. Her life is spent taking care of the boarding house and her two year old daughter, Adaline, and he admires that. It takes a lot of determination and some harrowing experiences to get her to change her mind, but he won't give up.
The Captured Bride
Virginia has been under someone's thumb her whole life and is overjoyed to finally be free. She's come to Cypress Creek as a mail order bride to marry Max, but is waylaid at the train station by his brother, Peta, an evil man who's speciality is kidnapping, especially children. The marshals know he's kidnapping them, but not why. Peta takes her away to his mountain retreat and she's captive again! The marshals are investigating the activities on the mountain and send in deputy Calvin East to infiltrate the group. There is an extra dose of suspense in this story and several of our marshals come together to save the day.
I can't express how much I've loved this series. Natalie Dean has outdone herself! I've received advance copies of each book in this series in exchange for my honest opinion. My honest opinion? I'd have purchased them! They're definitely keepers, and I'll read them again.
